Our Fees

616726_26242974Services performed will be charged at our standard hourly rates (subject to change each January 1) for the number of hours worked at the various levels of staff expertise required to perform the assignment most efficiently, plus computer charges and out of pocket expenses.

Payment for service is due when rendered and interim billings may be submitted as work progresses and expenses are incurred. Any invoices that are not paid within thirty days shall accrue a service charge at the rate of 10% per annum from the invoice date. Out-of-pocket expenses shall include our actual out-of-pocket expenses including, but not limited to, charges from outside service centers for processing of income tax returns, photocopying charges, long-distance telephone charges, messenger costs, and related costs and expenses. We expressly reserve the right not to perform further services if payment is not made as requested, and the halting of such work may cause you to incur penalties and interest for the government or third parties upon notification of no work status, Darrel Whitehead CPAs is clearly not liable for any of these costs.

It is our policy to not keep any original client records, so we will return those to you at the completion of the services rendered under this engagement. When records are returned to you, it is your responsibility to retain and protect your records for possible future use, including potential examination by any government or regulatory agencies.

In the unlikely event of a dispute, the prevailing party in any action or proceeding arising out of or to enforce any provision of this Agreement will be awarded reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs incurred in that action or proceeding, or in the enforcement of any judgment or award rendered.
